Google opens this window. It isn't an Owlu screen, so your password never passes through Owlu.
2Back in the app
You're signed in to Owlu. We're taking you back to the app—or tap below if it doesn't open automatically.
Open OwluTaking you back to Owlu…
It shows for a moment and the app opens by itself. If it doesn't, press “Open Owlu.”
3Integration
The account you signed in with is already here. If that's the only one you need, press “Done.” To add another mailbox, pick it here before you finish.

Naver sits inside “Another email service.”
3Type your ID and password

Open it to see the server addresses the app filled in. You can check them, but not change them.
Naver is the only one with an extra “Login ID” field, because it signs in with an ID rather than an email address.

5Account Sync
Owlu is downloading email headers from your newly connected account. Once complete, you'll be able to see all emails from this account in the main interface.

So where does the password go?
The answer depends on how you connect.
Google · Microsoft
You sign in on each service's own window.
No Owlu screen has a password field. Google and Microsoft open the sign-in window, and all Owlu receives is permission — whether this app may read your mail.
Naver · iCloud · company mail
You type the password on an Owlu screen.
On an account with two-step verification, you enter an “app password” — one that service issues for programs — rather than the password you sign in with day to day.
Once your mail is in one place
No more switching windows
Mail arrives in a single list, and you choose the sending address right in the compose window.
- Primary accountThe account you first signed in with. “Keep your primary account signed in to maintain email syncing across all linked accounts.”
- Up to five“You can link up to five email accounts. Remove an existing account before adding a new one.”
- A different card per account“Set a different card per account — each compose pane applies the right one automatically.”
Calendar
Calendar needs no separate setup
Add a mail account and that account's calendar comes with it.
- Google Calendar is automatic“Google calendars (auto sync always on)”
- Choose which account gets the event“Events are created only on the selected accounts. Choosing several creates an event on each.”
- Read-only calendarsFor a calendar you only subscribe to: “This calendar is read-only, so its events can't be changed.”
Turn each account's calendar on and off from the left.
How files are handled
When a workflow collects attachments, it “downloads files from Google Drive, iCloud, and Naver links in the email body.” Mail whose file came as a link isn't missed.
Go over it and the app tells you before attaching — “Total attachment size exceeds …, so it was not added. Compress the files or reduce their size and try again.”
Good to know
Worth knowing before you start
Each company shows a consent screen as you connect. Google asks for three — read, write, send and permanently delete mail; the Drive files this app uses; and Calendar. Microsoft asks for seven — see your email address; keep access while you're not using the app; full calendar access; send mail as you; read and write mail; mailbox settings; and OneDrive files. You can revoke consent later in each service's account settings.
“This account signs in with an IMAP password, not OAuth. Reconnecting deletes the account and the mail stored for it on this device, and you will have to enter the app password again.”
“Device logout signs you out from this device only and keeps workflows and chats. Permanent account deletion removes your account and all data, including workflows and chats.”
A few services don't let an app revoke access on your behalf, so you remove Owlu yourself from the connected-apps list in that service's account settings.
